Discrimination and Prejudice!
Some people don't judge me by what I do, BUT by who I am (my nationality).
To get straight to the point: a guy from England was 100% ready to accept services from my company, Imperative Music Agency, but 24 hours later, he backed out because he noticed I am based in Brazil.
This IS NOT the first time. I am Brazilian and live in Brazil; bands in Europe or the US aren't obligated to accept my services just because they received my emails, yet some people have decided NOT to do business with me simply because I am in Brazil. These types of people always ask, "Where are you from? Are you Brazilian?" I replied that I am and then never reply to my email.
Furthermore, some Media outlets (magazines) have refused to cooperate on reviews for bands represented by Imperative Music Agency for PR. You might be shocked by this comment, but—sad but true!
There are serious, kind people in the metal scene, but there are also those who offend, discriminate, and refuse to give even a single chance to support what I do.
This message is proof that a "dark side" exists within the metal scene—cruel people.
It comes as no surprise that our society grapples with racism, femicide, homophobia, and xenophobia.
