My name is Gilson Rodrigues de Arruda, I work as a public relations professional (global promotion).

My involvement with music began in 1986 when I discovered heavy metal listening to Metallica's album Master of Puppets. I quickly started buying albums by Megadeth and Slayer, and after a few years I entered the death metal scene. Bands like Celtic Frost, Morbid Angel, and Entombed became part of my life, and then came the black metal wave, but I also included heavy metal and other metal rock genres in my repertoire. During all those early years, I read over a hundred magazines/fanzines to get information and knowledge about the bands and everything this type of music represents.

In the 90s, I was the editor of three magazines, opened a store, and later managed a record label. After this experience with bands, media and labels, I gained access to the music market, and then founded Imperative Music Agency in 2007.

Imperative Music Agency is able to submit your material to various magazines, radio stations, and digital media outlets around the world. Imperative Music Agency's goal is to expand its band's reach worldwide.
