• 1 - To start this interview, explain the theme and musical structure in ACHAIAH 7//ANGEL OF PATIENCE?

Hello the team and thank you for having me here :)

ACHAIAH 7 of the Kabbalah is the embodiment of patience and offers a profound understanding of divine mysteries. Known as the "Good and Patient God," he plays an essential role in connecting those he guides with the understanding of universal laws, and is a key for those seeking spiritual growth.

I feel him as a kind of « Mercenary of God »

About the structure, ACHAIAH 7 is a dense piece of 18min, flying between Prophet 12 waves from David Smith, with very roaring guitares at the end mixed with some acoustic guitare notes and very deep and powerful drums. Vocal are taking place as poetry, electro rhythmic with a very soulful ending as « the scream of a wolf to the moon ».

It is a very interesting experimental piece and was very challenging to be the vessel of.

• 2 - Can we talk a bit about the origins of VAYA?

VAYA appeared in 2017. I was sitting at my piano waiting for a new song to come. Then I heard first nation drums and vocals and the voices were whispering « WAAAHIA »… Then a full story flowed through my fingers about the Legend of the White Wolf I ll be loyal to, forever. I loved so much that spiritual connection than I decided to let it be as my name and people naturally started to call me so. A couple of years later I learned the WAHYA means Wolf in Cherokee and I definitely have another story about that origin that is now running under my blood;) But that’s another story.

• 3 - I listen to many styles of music from classical, jazz, to metal, rock, etc. - I feel VAYA sounds original, I can't say "I've heard this before". As a musician, are you looking to create something new and different? How much time do you spend finishing each song?

I don’t count the time I spent on an artistry, I love what I do so much, I don’t look at the watch :)

You know, music takes place by itself through me and drive me where it has to be as a vessel. I never plan anything, I am just a receiver of the source. The whole work that find shape through my abilities are not mine but the work of the Greatest I try to translate as better as I can with a humble heart.

So the intention is not to create something different, its mostly to enjoy the process of creation, But if you feel it’s different and unique, then its a good sign ;)

• 4 - Are you planning on going into the studio to record a new album? When?

For now I am working by track. But who knows what God plans for you?:D
