WHAT THE HELL (Switzerland) was founded in 1994 by bassist Michael Fanni and guitarist Markus Dossenbach and started out as a trio. The first demo was recorded. In 1996 Robert Molnar was replaced by Matt Frey on drums.

The first album "Walk Through" is published internationally by the label DFP and receives great reviews. For example 5 ​​points in "Metal Hammer Magazine" Germany. Numerous gigs followed at home and abroad. 2005 singer Michi Seelhofer takes over the vocals.

They shared the stage with Crowbar, Such a Surge, Karma to Burn, Gurd and Sepultura.

Their albums were: "Have a Seat" 2006, "Loser" EP 2009, "Death Came as a Release" EP 2014 and for the 25th anniversary they released their new album "Breathing" on vinyl in April 2020.

WTH play alternative metal, groovy and heavy. They are influenced by bands like: Down, C.O.C., Black Sabbath, Live of Agony, Alice in Chains and Pantera.
